Accident Projection Techniques (APTs) are the quickest and easiest way to gain involvement and ownership in your safety process
APTSs are safety observation activities that have been designed to assist all employees while conducting safety observations. Employees are trained to recognize hazards, predict hazardous situations, and thus project a sequence of actions and/or physical factors that could cause an accident. This proactive process is designed to project accidents that are “apt” to occur and thus, prevent them.
Utilizing this employee-driven safety observation system, you will immediately see dramatic and positive changes in your safety culture. The Accident Projection Technique Process provides all personnel with the opportunity to use their knowledge, skills, and intuition.
